Friday Night Lights and my Tim Riggins Love Affair!

It's Friday!  And what better way to celebrate than to discuss my favorite show on tv!  This is seriously the best show ever ya'll!  Seriously, there's football, and beer drinking, and hot boys, and love affairs.  I mean, what's not to like?  If you haven't hopped on this bandwagon yet, I suggest you run out and get Season 1 and watch it tonight! The first 4 or 5 seasons are also free on Netflix.  I started about a month ago, and watch 2-3 episodes a night.  I know,  it's a little obsessive.  Ok, a lot obsessive, but once you see Tim Riggins, you'll understand.

And here he is...Tim Riggins

hottest boy on planet earth...

Isn't he dreamy:)

like I said... dreamy

and here's the crew.  love them all!

Coach Taylor is pretty cute too:)

So here is the run down:
"Expanding on the hit feature film and best-selling book “Friday Night Lights,” this award-winning series centers on life in Dillon, Texas, where high school football brings the community together -- and the drama of small town life threatens to tear it apart. Coach Eric Taylor (Emmy nominee Kyle Chandler, “Grey’s Anatomy”) faced countless challenges over the course of the first two seasons, but he... isn’t the only one juggling responsibilities between family, work and pressures from the community. In season three, Coach Taylor’s wife, Tami (Connie Britton, "24"), also has her hands full as Dillon’s new high school principal: managing a shrinking budget, a lack of school supplies, decreased teaching staff and student issues, as well as a baby and coming of age teenaged daughter, Julie (Aimee Teegarden, “Hannah Montana”) at home.

The start of a new school year brings a wave of change to Dillon. New is the affluent McCoy family: Joe (D.W. Moffat, “Grey’s Anatomy”), Katie (Janine Turner “Strong Medicine”) and their freshman son and rising quarterback J.D. McCoy (Jeremy Sumpter, “Clubhouse”) who befriend all the right people in town, except for Coach Taylor who feels challenged and at times threatened by the power they wield. Additionally, the graduating senior class is one step closer to adulthood as they ride out their last year of high school. Senior student Tyra Colette (Adrianne Palicki, "Supernatural") sorts out her feelings for Landry (Jesse Plemons, “Shrink”) and does her best to stay on track with her academics and college applications; Lyla Garrity (Minka Kelly, “The Kingdom”) and Tim Riggins (Taylor Kitsch, “X-Men Origins: Wolverine") are officially a couple and while Tim is enjoying every minute of his senior year, Lyla tries to plan out a bright college future for both of them. What should be the best year for senior quarterback Matt Saracen (Zach Gilford, “The Last Winter”) proves to be a difficult one as he continues to deal with his ailing grandmother and increasing competition with freshman J.D. McCoy for playing time on the field. On the brighter side, Saracen and Julie rekindle their friendship. Matt also becomes reacquainted with his mother and finds himself needing her support and love more than he ever thought. Meanwhile, Jason Street's (Scott Porter, “Speed Racer”) struggle to start a new life with his girlfriend and newborn son has him exploring interesting business ventures that have the potential to lead him to a future beyond Dillon. Brian "Smash" Williams (Gaius Charles, “The Messenger”) has also graduated and, after nursing an injured knee and with the persistent training and support of Coach Taylor, is given a second chance at playing college ball. "

Seriously, get the dvd's... you'll be dreaming of Tim Riggins in no time:)
