Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits

Ingredients 2 1/2 cups Bisquick baking mix 3/4 cup cold whole milk 4 tablespoons cold butter (1/2 stick) 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder 1 cup cheddar cheese (heaping), grated Brush on Top 2 tablespoons butter, melted 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley flakes 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder pinch salt Directions Preheat oven to 400.  Mix Bisquick with cold butter in a medium bowl using a pastry cutter . Add cheddar cheese, milk, and 1/4 teaspoon garlic. Using an ice cream scoop, drop portions of the dough onto an ungreased cookie sheet and tap down slightly to flatten Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits begin to turn light brown. Melt 2 tablespoons butter is a small bowl  and stir in 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder and the dried parsley flakes. Best-Ever Banana Nut Bread

  this is one of my all time favorite recipes.  my mom always made this banana bread with over-ripe bananas and served it warm with butter.  sooooooo good!        Ingredients: 1 1/4 cup sugar 1/2 cup softened butter 2 eggs 2-3 medium sized over-ripe bananas 1/2 cup buttermilk 1 t. vanilla 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 t. baking soda 1 t. salt 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts ***makes two 8x4 loaves   Directions: 1.  Preheat over to 350 degrees.  Grease two 8x4 loaf pans 2.  In large mixing bowl, mix sugar and butter.  Add eggs, bananas, buttermilk, and vanilla.  Beat until smooth. Stir in flour, baking soda, salt and nuts.  Pour batter into pans. 3.  Bake for one hour, or until toothpick comes out clean.      

Artisan Bread

This is seriously the best bread recipe ever!  It takes seconds to put together, but plan ahead as you should leave the dough to rise overnight.  I started mine on a Saturday afternoon and baked it mid day Sunday.  It may seem like a process, but it's totally worth it!  This recipe makes a huge loaf, so we had delicious crunchy bread for sandwiches and snacking all week.  This will surely become your go to bread recipe!  Artisan Bread 6 cups bread (recommended) or all-purpose flour 1 package instant or active-dry yeast 2 1/2 t. salt 2 2/3 cup warm water In small bowl combine yeast, salt and warm water. Let sit for 10-15 minutes until yeast activates and bubbles.  In a large bowl add flour, mix in yeast mixture.  Blend until all the ingredients are well incorporated; the dough should be wet and sticky. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap. Let the dough rest 12-18 hours on the counter at room temperature. Dough should double in size...
